The Wisconsin Veterans Home at King is a long-term and rehabilitative care facility with four residential buildings. Our Medical Department is unique compared to other nursing care facilities. We provide care to eligible veterans, their spouses, widows and Gold Star parents needing skilled nursing care. We are capable of caring for individuals having a wide variety of needs.

Just off State Highway 22, on County Road QQ, the Veterans Home is 3 miles southwest of Waupaca, 98 miles north of Madison, and 38 miles west of Appleton.

We are a skilled nursing facility providing: • Alzheimer’s & Dementia care, including a secure living environment for those who wander • Chronic tracheostomy care • Daily sick rounding physician • Diabetic consultant services • Four on-site Advanced Practice Nurse Prescribers • IV therapy • Nutritional services • Oncology care • Palliative Care/Hospice • Post-surgical care • Rehab services • Respiratory care • Stroke and neurological care • Tube feeding • Wound care
