Movianto medical device logistics offers consistency in quality, the highest levels of safety and security as well as the utmost flexibility to the clients‘ needs in a distribution neutral environment. Our dedicated medical device logistics servi-ces include: warehousing & fulfillment, a complete set of distribution solutions, financial services like order-to-cash, multi-lingual customer service and various value added services.

Many years of focus and experience within the pharmaceu-tical industry have given us the basis to expand into the medical device industry, where we have created value and savings for our clients. Movianto medical device logistics are operated through our specifically equipped European Distribution Centers (EDC) in Germany and the Netherlands. Both EDCs are supported by 18 local Movianto warehouses throughout Europe in case remote and/or forward stock locations are required for even faster services.

To provide the optimal services for medical devices, our EDCs are fully licensed according to ISO 9001. We are also certified with the quality standard ISO 13485 for warehousing, distribution and value added services for medical device products. All our warehouses are GxP compliant and manufacturing licensed.

Movianto is committed to consistency in quality which is supported by our Europe-wide ISO 9001 certification and more specifically for medical devices by the ISO 13485 certification for warehousing, distribution and value added services for medical device products. In addition, our warehouses are GDP & GxP approved and have manufacturing licenses.

The warehouses include segregated temperature zones to support different temperature requirements for storage, pick & pack and shipping processes. We offer controlled ambient space to store the main devices (15 - 25°C), controlled cool space at 2 to 8°C and controlled -20°C to support products like reagents. At the Oss EDC, we can even offer a very unique -40°C deep freeze area. All our temperature controlled areas are validated.

Returns are managed in a separate area and quarantine products are also stored segregated from the main inventory.

Both European Distribution Centers are supported by a network of Movianto forward stock locations, strategically situated across Europe. These locations can be used to support domestic operations, but also to store strategic and/or critical parts close to our customers` clients.

The Movianto inventory management team continuously monitors the order throughput to optimise picking processes and space usage based on ABC analyses.

From pick up at the clients‘ manufacturing site for replenishment of the inventory at the EDC, all the way to the final delivery to the clients‘ customers and the invoicing process. A complete service under one single roof provides our clients real peace of mind.

Movianto is a carrier neutral transportation provider. This gives us the possibility to select the best service providers in order to meet and exceed our clients‘ needs. Our established strong long-term relationships with several transportation companies enables us to offer to our clients competitive and up-to-date transportation prices while guaranteeing a high level of quality.

Our experienced Movianto Transport Solutions (MTS) team has selected an extensive list of carriers. Depending on the specific requirements of the client order, such as weight, size, temperature and urgency, MTS Freight Forwarding provides a tailored solution based upon our many years of experience and relationships.

We manage any kind of transport requirement like Ocean, Air, Express, Standard and Emergency Next Flight Out for critical shipments. These critical deliveries are supported by a 24/7 availability service in order to guarantee the fastest response possible.

Through the Movianto Prince IT integration platform we offer full visibility along the entire supply chain to our clients. This visibility includes track & trace of the different transport solution in a transparent and consistent mode. More than 150 of our clients use a single neutral Movianto webpage to access carrier information or any other supply chain related information. Of course our Movianto Prince platform also enables POD and status uploads directly into the clients‘ ERP system. Our Movianto Prince IT team has experience with more than 500 different client integrations.

Many of the Movianto clients are expanding their business into Europe. This is where we deliver peace of mind to our clients. With many years of experience in supporting medical start-up companies we take care of your Customer Service, your invoicing process as well as your fiscal setup.

Peace of Mind indicates setting up a business, starting with fiscal representation followed by a multi-lingual customer service and back office infrastructure that takes care of order taking in local languages, pick, pack & delivery of products, sending out invoices and collecting the amounts outstanding.

Our Customer Service & Back Office teams provide a range of services that comfort our clients and their customers. Movianto‘s full order-to-cash services are like most of our services designed towards the needs of our individual clients. At Movianto we create invoices on behalf of our clients and mail them to their customers. The service may include active cash collection, a follow up on late payments through an active reminder process and daily reporting on the payment process. The order-to-cash process is integrated in our IT solution, offering the flexibility that our clients require from their partner.

Movianto Customer Service & Back Office Support

Our clients can access all their supply chain information at Movianto in two ways. During the implementation process, we set up various integrated messages that feed our clients IT platform with the data that they require for their business process optimization.

These messages include but are not limited to: Order acknowledgement, inventory status, transport status and Proof Of Delivery (POD). Another way of accessing this valuable information is through the Movianto online platform. Here our clients have access to the latest status of all their orders and inventories. Additionally it can provide them with a range of standard and/or customised reports. Easy accessible and only a few clicks away, the Movianto business critical reports can be downloaded in static form like PDF or a more dynamic way like Excel.

Our day-to-day operations are supported by our multi- disciplinary European Operations team. This team, consisting of a procurement, a project management & solutions segment, is dedicated to ensure our services and operations are both lean as well as that the client requirements are compliant with all European and local regulatory requirements.
