October 2017 Dear Friends, The Mediapolis Education Foundation (MEF) was established in 1986 to support and promote academic excellence in our school district. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, independent of the school district, and operate under the direction of a board comprised of area citizens. Our mission is simple: to provide financial support to our school sys- tem, which allows for expanded educational opportunities, such as: $13,000 in scholarships awarded to graduating seniors in 2017 Student-managed healthy vending machine in high school concourse Outdoor classroom and perennial butterfly garden CNC mill and lathe for Industrial Arts program Construction of a new greenhouse These opportunities are possible only because of your generous contributions!
