FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

DATE: August 8, 2008

JSTV launches new subdivision of Satellite Broadcast Station: KAC Media (Korean American Christian Media) to serve the needs of 1.5 and 2nd generation Korean Americans through online web2.0 and television media. Los Angeles, CA – Over 6 years, since its official debut in 2002 as the first U.S. based Korean Christian Broadcast organization started by Korean immigrants, JSTV is ready to introduce its Korean American division (KAC Media - Korean American Christian Media).  Founder of JSTV, Pastor Jong Moon Lee has long understood the need for bridging the gap between the 1st generation and the 1.5, 2nd and 3rd generation Korean Americans - and has embraced the move towards this transition by providing a platform for the emerging generations.

Within just a few short months, the call to action was heeded.  Through the efforts of an exponentially growing staff of volunteer interns made up of directors, producers, editors, writers, and graphic designers - KAC Media has already made an impact in the communities in which it aims to serve. Even in its beta stage, KAC Media already boasts an interactive online social networking website featuring P2P streaming television, original programming and acquired content, an interactive forum, blogs, articles, reviews, upcoming events, and much more. Our non-profit partners and local church partners have already started to recognize us as the premier contact for media coverage and content in relation to Korean American Christians. Support from established organizations such as KCCD (Korean Churches for Community Development) and product partners such as Amore Pacific, Inc. have also been forged in this short amount of time.   Currently dependent under JSTV, KAC Media hopes soon to be financially independent as we continue to seek opportunities for sponsorships to promote more businesses and organizations. The debut of KAC Media will officially be commissioned on Saturday, November 8th, 2008 at our fundraising banquet at Oxford Palace Hotel in Los Angeles. Scheduled keynote speakers include Phillip Rhee [Writer/Producer of the 1989 hit film, 'Best of the Best'], Hyepin Im [President/CEO of Korean Churches for Community Development], and James Sun [Competitor and runner-up on Season 6 of 'The Apprentice' and Founder/CEO of www.zoodango.com; the online social networking site for professionals].
