Access during the operation of the hub Pedestrian access largely as normal

Exception is north and west sides of square, where it will be managed to allow frontage access, and encourage alternative routes where possible

No permitting for pedestrian access

Vehicle access within restricted area by permitting system

Allows access for those who require it, whilst minimising background traffic

Detail of permitting being worked through with LB Camden

Deliveries will be granted access into the restricted area where necessary

We will communicate with local residents and businesses about the best times of the day to access the restricted area for deliveries etc. At peak times there may be a delay to wait for congestion to clear

There will be some other changes to the road network around Russell Square, to enable the ORN to operate. Southampton Row/ Woburn Place and Euston Road will be open to all traffic, but they will have a Games Lane and some other restrictions such as no right turns and stopping restrictions.
