HOW DID YOU PRODUCUCTION SKILLS DEVELOP THROUGHT OUT THIS PROJECT?

This frames of filmed were pre production of RadioWaves in which we worked on other projects in order to prepare ourselves for our final film, as you can see due to the fact that we where still learning how to work and operate a camera there where white balance issues

These are frames of film whilst we were filming, this was test footage however, as you can see there is major ISO and lighting issues. From these we started to plan times in which were best to film, in order to get clear and crisp images

This was whilst we were in production of our films, as you can see we started looking into better lighting environment along with double checking the camera was set Manually to the right levels in order to get crisp images, due to the cloudy day this was hard to do.

These frames whilst in production came out perfect are both clear crisp and of perfect color.

Overall our production skills improved immensely through a large amount of trial and era, and test footage. However, we are confident this allowed us to fully understand all aspects of production and meant it was easier to create our final film.

LIGHTINGLighting was huge challenge as we wanted to film in sunset as this gave a conventional thriller feel to every film as it is a very mysterious kind of day. It was hard to balance the camera settings in the changing lights therefore there was a lot of experimentation within the lighting test shots. However, we learnt to film quickly and effectively. We found overcast setting an easy task to handle as the varying lights of pinks and yellow differed too much in the time it took to film in typical sunsets. Our assessment of correct film lighting improved dramatically and allowed us create the film we desired to create.
