Louise is a London based hair & makeup artist with over 10 years experience in the wedding industry. Her signature style focuses on achieving a healthy, glowing complexion with the use of must-have skincare products and the most innovative cruelty-free makeup products. She is a versatile hairstylist and embraces her creativity with styles spanning from braids to elegant chignons, loose boho bride waves to lovely updos.

Your favourite hair and/or makeup product.“I strive to use vegan, cruelty-free and local brands as much as possible in my kit and I really like the natural healthy glow I achieve with Charlotte Tilbury products”.

Top tip for bridal/special occasion clients“I think scheduling as best as possible, allowing yourself time to breathe and feel relaxed on the day is the most important thing that I can recommend. If that means taking time to put on a mask and add a boost of vitamins and peptides to your skin, you’ll not only feel your best but also prep the skin to perfection before we start applying the makeup”.

What do you love about being a hair/makeup artist?

“I have always enjoyed building rapport with my clients and getting to know people from all walks of life

and being part of a special moment in their life. I love empowering women to feel beautiful and confident,

I enjoy the hands-on approach to my work and the playfulness behind creative styling”.

What’s been your best job to date? “The best part of a job for me is when I get to see my clients smiling as soon as I put down my brush and they see themselves in the mirror. I love to travel and I get to do a fair amount to destination weddings abroad or even outside London to amazing natural resorts with beautiful landscapes. For me the wedding venue amplifies the whole experience, making each moment spent with my brides and the wedding party memorable”.
