HOW OLD ARE YOU

A majority of the people taking my survey were between 15-18 (14

people), one was aged 43-56 and the last 2 candidates were over the

age of 56

WHAT GENRE OF MUSIC DO YOU LIKE BEST

There were many mixed votes but pop beat the other genres, adding up to 6 votes. However there were some which specified other genres

that they liked.

One comment was silly but the other two were legitimate answers. Here are the two other genres that both of the candidates specified on

the question. This shows that everyone has a different taste in

WHICH OF THESE SONGS DID YOU PREFER

Many people thought that Coolio – ‘Gangsters Paradise’ was the better song out of my other

potential ideas. Maybe because of its age and popularity on the

Internet

WHY

Many people thought the song sounded better than the other songs listed. There comments suggested that the song was

catchy and was fun to listen to than my other potential ideas.

WOULD YOU PREFER TO HAVE A NARRATIVE IN A

MUSIC VIDEO

It was close but most of the people thought that a music video would

be better with a narrative than without one.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE MUSIC VIDEO

Each response had different genres, so peoples favourite music videos were mixed, but there were a few that mentioned Rihanna and Beyoncé, pop videos. There were

other genres in there such as Electronic and Rock Music etc.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE MUSIC VIDEO AND WHYMany people said that people loved the dancing within the music video that they like,

some of nationality such as ‘Ruski’ (Russian) and the story, mood and cinematography. Very mixed opinions in the end.

HOW MANY HOURS A WEEK DO YOU LISTEN TO

MUSIC

There were more people that listened to more hours of music a week than there were who didn’t listen to very much music a week.

This shows that most of the candidates like listening to music

daily. Just a theory.

HOW MANY MUSIC VIDEOS DO YOU WATCH A

WEEK

Even though that a lot of the candidates listen to music, most of

them don’t watch music videos very often, telling us that they

listen to the music only, perhaps through headphones on their

phone etc.
