0.01 – Transition from plain black screen with flash cut edited text.
0.02 – Jump cut between two backgrounds with overlaid post-production text introducing the name of the band.

0.04 – Jump cut between band name text and song title text as shots flash between the black screen and music video.
0.05 – Jump cut as song title text is overlaid the music video.

0.06 – Jump cut away as text disappears and video begins.

0.09 – Jump cut between tranquil water and lead singer of the band as he continues to remain submerged under the water.

0.11 – Jump cuts continue as lead singer begins to rise from the water. The shot changes between being focused and unfocused thus mimicking the point of view of the protagonist rising from the water.

1.05 – Cut back to tranquil water shot as non-diegetic music begins to transition to introduce the featured artist.

1.08 – The previous shot clarifies and shows the female protagonist, featured artist for the song, submerged under water.
1.10 – The shot composition continues but instead cuts back to the lead singer also submerged under the water.
1.14 – Cut between both artists as they remain submerged whilst shot zooms in on both individually.
1.23 – 1.29
1.23 – The shot continuum placing both artists within similar shots stays the same. Both are now above the water being zoomed in on by a tracking over the shoulder shot.

1.30 – Slow pan shot follows the motion of the reflection in the water towards the body of the lead singer protagonist.

1.32 – Slow pan shot moves up the body of the main protagonist.

1.34 – Cut back to water reflections in time with the change in pace of the music.

1.36 – 1.38 - Faster paced pan tracking shot tilts upwards following the lines of the body whilst jump cuts juxtapose the tranquil water to the scenes of movement.

1.39 – Close up cuts between submerged protagonist and the shot of the lead singer rising out of the water keep in time with the pace of the music.

1.40 – Cut to close up shot of female protagonist emerging from the water as an implied continuing shot from male equivalent. The reverse edited shot shows the female sinking back into the water. Editing then cuts to a black screen as the song transitions from both singing to Hackman’s voice only.
1.47 – 1.50
1.47 – 1.50 – Black screen is used as a cut between two jump cuts of the tranquil water scene. One frame is of normal colour whilst the other is edited post-production under a red tint.
1.51 – 2.05
1.51 – 2.05 – The quick cuts between tranquil water and the submerged secondary protagonist continue as the colour of shots cut between original colouring and the post-production edited red tint.

2.06 – Cut back to the reflection of the lead singer as he slowly moves his hands across the water.
2.08 – Edited black screen disrupts the flow of the video in time with the hit of the drum to reintroduce the voice of the lead singer.

2.12 – The lead singer is seen floating on the surface of the water as the shot quick cuts from the reflection.

2.12 – The slow motion shot of the artist emerging from the water is again used in reverse as he sinks back into the water.
2.21 – The lead singer is again fully beneath the water.
2.22 – The colourisation is edited in post-production into the red hue.
2.23 – 2.28
2.23 – Once again the video cuts to the lead singer under the water slowly breathing out air bubbles whilst the colour of the screen is tinted red.
2.29 – 2.32
2.29 – The shot transitions via a cut to a high angle close up then tracking shot as the lead singer emerges from the water.
2.33 – 2.38
2.33 – The video cuts to a low canted angle hand held camera shot of the legs and feet of both artists as the walk into the water. They are both within the same framing for the first time.
2.39 – 2.45
2.39 – The video continues the same low shot of the feet but instead follows through a handheld panning shot and post production cuts.
2.46 – 3.00
2.46 – The screen cuts to the shot of the tranquil red colour edited water.
2.47 – Quick cuts back and forth between the standing direct address stare of the lead singer and the calm red water in time with the beats of the pre-chorus.
2.49 – The cuts between the two scene continues with movement. The shot of the protagonist pans down the body as he returns to the water whilst the shot of the red water tracks right following the ripples of water.
3.01 – 3.15
3.01 – Quick cut in contrast to the longer shots that then shows a slow motion shot of the feet again pushing through the water with interspersed slow tracking shots of calm blue waters as the music begins to slow for the ending of the song.
3.16 – 3.30
3.16 – Cut to black screen as the lyrics end.
3.17 – Flash cut, in time with music, between the black end screen and the tranquil water with overlaid text stating the name of the band.
3.20 – Plain black screen as the music gradually fades out.
