Potential Problems Front Cover Image - My photo for my front cover will need to be clear in order to look professional so in order to do this I will use a good camera that will produce high quality photos. The only potential problem I can think of is the location where I will take these photos, the location is important when taking photos. I think using a studio would result in having better photos, however I could also use any location and later use photo shop to get rid of the background and use the model only. The colouring in the front cover has to be bright and bold, the only worry I have about the colouring is if when I print it out the colours fade, causing the magazine to lack a professional 'glossy' look that most magazines have. Therefore I need to ensure I have a really fresh colour finish on my images. Article inside the magazine – My double page spread will link back to the dominant image on the front cover. It has to be informative as well as interesting, and my article will have to be focused around the artist on the cover and stay on topic as sometimes articles can babble when they have nothing interesting left to say. I will have to come up with an interesting article about an upcoming artist that the reader will find interesting. To be able to stay on track and keep the article making sense I will overcome this problem by reading other articles in music magazines such as NME and Q for inspiration. Images to accompany the article – When using images for my double page spread I am going to make sure they look professional and making them relevant to the article. I will use a close friend to pose as a model for my photos, she will have certain poses and facial expressions in ways that will help represent the type of music genre the article is based on.

Potential Problems

Front Cover Image -

My photo for my front cover will need to be clear in order to look professional so in order to do this I will use a good camera that will produce high quality photos.

Article inside the magazine –

My double page spread will link back to the dominant image on the front cover.

Images to accompany the article –

When using images for my double page spread I am going to make sure they look professional and making them relevant to the article. I will use a close friend to pose as a model for my photos, she will have certain poses and facial expressions in ways that will help represent the type of music genre the article is based on.My only problem with getting photos that look realistic in musical settings is the equipment used for example microphones. Although I do have a guitar and a banjo, these would come in handy if I feel the need to use props in my images.
