ENERGY MANAGER MAGAZINE“Promoting Energy Efficiency Across The Public Sector”

The Public Sector estate has a significant carbon footprint. Over £3.5billion is spent on energy use per year by public sector bodies and energy bills are getting bigger by the day. Energy efficiency is a must given the current limited resources.

Indeed, the Carbon Trust believes that the public sector could immediately cut its energy bill by £1 billion by implementing energy efficiency projects.

Clearly, therefore the size of the Public Sector places it in a key position to contribute to the UK’s target of achieving an 80% reduction in carbon emissions by 2050 and lead the private sector by example to achieve reductions in energy usage and build a sustainable infrastructure policy for the future.

• How can the Public Sector reduce energy use without impacting on services? • How can they cut unnecessary spending whilst working within tight budgets?

• How can they make best use of renewable sources? • How can they become more efficient, while also tackling the urgent need to cut

emissions thus reducing the risk of damaging climate change? • How can they provide training, education and leadership?

Energy Manager Magazine has been launched to assist all those working in the Public Sector energy environment, to source ideas, products, services and solutions to the questions raised above.

Published bi-monthly (initially) from February 2015, Energy Manager Magazine will carry the following in each issue:• Latest News, Comment & Analysis• Case Studies• New Product Information• Special Features• Training News• Latest Policy & Legislation• and much more

Energy Manager Magazine will in the main be digital as this is the preferred format in the Public Sector. It is also the most sustainable. In between issues we will be sending out newsletters to keep our readers abreast of current issues etc.

Energy Manager Magazine is the only energy journal exclusively dedicated to the Public Sector, thereby giving you unique access to this most important market. We have designed special packages for you to benefit from exposure in Energy Manager Magazine and these are detailed in the following pages.

CirculationEnergy Manager Magazine will be initially published six times

a year.

Energy Manager Magazine will have a circulation in excess of 5,000 copies which will be distributed digitally but also in print to those that request them.

We found that over the last three years that most of our Public Sector readers prefer digital versions of our magazines, which also fits well into their sustainability policy.
