Editing SoftwareWhen I first started my coursework this year I only knew how to use the editing software, iMovie as I had used it in GCSE. However this year I was introduced to Final Cut Pro which was completely different to iMovie. Final Cut allowed me to use a large variety of editing techniques and therefore allowed me to be more creative when editing our film. An example of this is when we used credits created in Live Type for our film.

Web 2.0 ToolsWhen creating posts for my blog I was able to discover and use a variety of web 2.0 tools, such as Go Animate and Slide Share. Go Animate is a online software that allows you to create animations using pre existing or user created characters, I used this when creating my evaluation. Slide Share is a online presentation software that can be embed into a website or post. I used this for my blog and I was able to embed it into some of my posts.

Pre-Installed SoftwareI also learnt how to use pre-installed software on the mac, such as Live Type and Garage Band. I used Live Type to create the credits and film title for our film, as it allowed me to make our credits and title stand out through the use of animations. We used Garage Band to compose sound effects for our film and edit the main song we have playing in the backgound. This allowed us to make the sound effects suit our film and change the main song to fit the theme of our film and therefore make the film more appealing.
