Question 2 – How does your media product represent particular social groups?

Throughout the magazine I have consistency in the font by using ‘MS Reference Sans Serif’ for main text and ‘Edwardian Script ITC’ for some selected lines as on my front cover.

The way in which the youth that the I have aimed for (15-19 year olds) have in my opinion been represented by people who enjoy being creative, playing their own music but also listening to the songs produced by other artists.

The image on the contents page in the film strip is of two young guys with a bottle, this more or less adheres to the typical stereotype of the youngsters today, however their clothing goes against the stereotype as there wearing suits.

The mise en scene of a few pictures taken on the contents page and double page spread are very random such as laying on top of a roof top, onto of a sheds roof as well, this may connote the youth of today are in fact ‘hood rats’ however from my magazine Iwish to portray them as spontaneous and lively.
