Question 6: What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

Overall, I used a wide range of tools on photoshop. The key tool was the magic wand tool, which i used to elect the area around my cover star to make him more prominent in the picture. This made my work look more professional and polished. I also used the colour change tool to create a house style throughout the pages of my magazine. I have learned that photoshop takes time and effort, but it is worth it as it makes my work look more effective and professional.

For my coursework I also learned how to use a Canon 600D. It was more complex then cameras that I had previously used. I learned about the rule of thirds and different shot types. This allowed me to take good quality photographs and also allowed me to express my creative and more artistic side.

Using blog.com for my coursework has been my first experience of blogging. It is more complex than a microblogging site, such as Twitter. I have learned the importance of regular updates, and that it is important to consider presentation and the need for a range of technology.
