In ethnicity,we represented our protagonist as mysterious. As our protagonist are a old men and the photo of the girl is a young lady which is dead.We done this because we want create a enigma to audience,to think about what relationship are they.As in the voiceover, the protagonist says “I didn’t think this case will be that hard”.

In class,we represesnted why the protagonist need to look into this case,as in legal way this thing should be do it by police. So it must be at the back someone which is very rich or some have super jurisdiction people want to know why she dead.

During the pre-production planning, we did lot’s of research into male protagonists in detective films. We have looked for their action and background music. We found out that they usually are calm ,old and curious

We have also research for woman and we find out usually woman represented weaker than mens. Also when mens and woman they have conventions, they usually are relate to sex, sexuality and love.So men’s are usually easy fall in love in film noir.

At the end,we have cast Jeff for our opening sequence. We had sterotypes him as a detective of a old men which is really calm, hardworking and smart in the opening. He was super profressional and in the voiceover,I really like the american accent he did which looks more like a film noir.
