Conventions

• Some use bright colours where as some use dark colours depending on the theme

• Front cover uses bright bold contrasting colours top catch the buyers eye

• The name of the magazine is at the top in bold font which makes it stand out

• They use images of students as a background of the cover

• Each magazine has a different theme

Similarities and Differences

• Both magazines have the title at the top of the front cover

• The colours used are different, one uses bright vibrant colours where as the other uses dark ones

• Both magazines use images of students as their background for the front cover

• The layout for the two are quite similar
