Both music videos fit the title of the songs appropriately such as in Beyoncé's ‘Run the world’ she shows the females in a dominant positioning in a derelict area

showing the women are fighting for power throughout the full video in contrast to Tulisa’s as it shows her and her

friends driving around in the sun enjoying themselves. Both of the videos are presented like a film as they have

establishing shots of the area they are in and of the artist, also the initial first shot is an introduction of the

artist.

Both music videos have a scene for the artist to sing the song and also have a storyline which it cuts between.

The settings of all the scenes in the video are interlinked, such as Beyoncé in a deserted area in both when she is singing and her solo clips and also with Tulisa, she’s in a spray-painted area to fit the song and is in a quite run down area with her friends.

Tulisa’s outfit matches the song ‘Young’ as she is in pink shorts, a tied shirt and a denim waistcoat which shows a

younger side to Tulisa rather than being in a dress or different wardrobe and also her close up she has very light make-up showing a fresh faced girl showing her purity and trying to

show she is still young.

Beyoncé's outfit is more fit for a ruler with all the gold headwear she has on throughout the shot and has a gold crown on showing her superiority through just seeing her in this one shot, the second shot of her outfit is gold and red and red represents anger and fear or even blood which is a dominant colour along with gold which is very bold but still has a dress on so her femininity isn’t taken away from her.

Wardrobe and make-up are used the same in both to fit the

artists into the song but without taking away femininity and

allowing the artist to be connected directly to the song.
