Marjaree Mason Center to Host a Candlelight Vigil to Commemorate Domestic Violence Victims

(Friday, May 26 – Fresno, Calif.) – For the first time, the Marjaree Mason Center will host a candle light vigil in order to commemorate domestic violence victims and give their families a moment to grieve while giving them the opportunity to know that there are not alone.

The event is opened to the public and there is no cost to attend but candlesticks will be sold for a five-dollar donation.

“I’m a firm believer that every life is a gift and every person deserves to be treated with respect,” said Nicole Dibuduo Linder, MMC’s Executive Director.

Marjaree Mason Center is Fresno County's only dedicated provider of domestic violence shelter and support services, including education for victims and youth.

For more than 30 years the Marjaree Mason Center has stayed true to its mission and has strategically sought opportunities to ensure the Center remains a constant benefit to the community.

More information about the Candlelight Vigil is available at mmcenter.org
