SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - Lake Superior State University holds a public ribbon
cutting and dedication ceremony for its newest building, R.W. Considine Hall, noon-
1 p.m. this Friday, April 21. Speakers include LSSU President Tom Pleger, Provost
David Roland Finley, Student Government President R.J. Holman, and Michigan
Gov. Rick Snyder and/or other state officials.
A reception and student-guided building tours follow the formal ceremony.
The 44,000 square-foot, $13.5 million facility features classrooms, faculty offices,
lounge areas, a student commons eatery, and a board room that overlooks north
campus. R.W. Considine Hall will be the home to LSSU's Lukenda School of
Business, and serve as a resource for all programs offered by Lake State.
Parking for the event is LOT J, the main library parking lot. Access to Considine
Hall (building 23 on attached map) is through the building's north entrance, which
faces Kenneth J. Shouldice Library.
