ENHM ENVIRONMENT AND HOUSEKEEPING MANAGEMENT

▪ Environment and housekeeping management wing is a part of mechanical and is in operation since 16.04.2017 and a vision to improve cleanliness and better housekeeping of Nominated railway stations and onboard housekeeping of coaches and environment related activities /programmes at railway establishments.

▪ The EnHm wing is headed by Sr.DME and assisted by AEnHM and overall guidance by DRM and ADRM/ Infra

▪ One Senior Section Engineer, Three Health Inspectors and one Ministerial staff.

• Mechanized Cleaning of GUNTUR Railway Station and Nandyal Station Including Railway colony.

• Implementation of Directions of Hon’ble National Green Tribunal orders for nominated Stations with co-ordination of all departments to achieve the environment related certificates, orders, works, audits plants, as per the CPCB guidelines.

• On Board Housekeeping of GNT Nominated Rakes.

• Monthly PCDO & NGT compliances and monthly Reports to HQs

• Updating of Shramik Kalyan portal regularly

• Conducting of Swachh Bharat programmes , Swachha Pakhwada programmes and world Environment day celebrations duly cooperation with other Departments.

• Rail Vikas Bhavan Campus (Divisional Railway Manager’s Office Campus, Guntur) achieved first IGBC green campus platinum rating

(existing) in Indian Railways.

Presentation of IGBC Platinum certificate and Plaque to Sri Vinod Kumar Yadav, GM/SCR by Sri Vijay sai Meka, IGBC Chairman/Amaravathi Chapter/AP for Green Campus Rating of Rail VikasBhavan (DRM’s Office campus @ Rail Mahal/Guntur in the eve of 15 Years Celebrations of Guntur division.RVB is the first IGBC Green campus (existing) Platinum Rating Campus Certified campus in Indin Railways.

The Rail Vikas Bhavan (DRM’s Office) has bagged the prestigious Award from “Andhra Pradesh Urban Greening & Beautification Corporation” under Office Premises category and stood 1st place. On 14/07/2018 during “Vanamahothsvavam celebrations” conducted by A.P. Forest Department held at IIIT Campus/Nuzividu, Hon’bleChief Minister Sri. Nara Chandra Babu Naidu handed over Certificate and Memento to Smt. V.G. BHOOMA, DRM/GNT.
