The Event Problem Statement:
Build a manually controlled robot capable of traversing over irregular terrains with deep gaps (crevasses) in between, by bridging them and saving victims stranded at the accident site. Task:
Traverse over different terrains. Place the bridging part (Joint) between the terrains. Rescue the victims from the accident site.
The Bot Material Used:
Standard Metal Chassis Conveyor Wheel Set 200rpm High Torque DC Motors: for wheels A low rpm DC motor: for rotation of roll of thread Aluminum Rods 2 aluminum hooks 12V DC Battery
STRUCTURE:-
This is a manual bot which can pass through different types of terrain like sandy, rocky, pleby etc. It consist of two stands made with aluminum rods which consist a hook on both the stands which is connected to the thread. The thread is then connected to rollers and the rollers are connected with the motor with the help of rod. Purpose of this bot is to pass through the different terrain and to pick up joints and boxes.
Working:-
There is two aluminum stands to give support to the thread attached to hook. Distance between the two stands is set according to the diameter of the ring of boxes and joint. Hook mechanism is used to pick up the objects and joints as shown in figure.
First, both the hooks are down with the help of motor and then attached the hooks to the ring of that object and objects is than pick up with the help of motor. Thn it will adjust on its place by moving our whole mexhanism.
