What is Mechatronic?

• In actuality Mechatronic in received as a technological career just as much as an engineering which units mechanic, electronic, and some parts of informatics. It has been said that it focuses on a point of view based on open communication systems and practices that we see everyday which make designs to give better quality to the career.

Tendencies of Mechatronic

The education in Mechatronic has taken many different directions according to the needs of the country that takes it into accounting, but three fundamental orientations could stick out from the rest. Software and hardware development for digital computers, development of machinery and intelligent systems, and development of industrial automatization.

Evolution of Mechatronic

• Historically three phases in the evolution of Mechatronic can be distinguished. The first phase corresponds to the introduction of the word in the industrial media and its acceptance, it characterizes because ach one of the technologies that integrate develops independently. The second phase begins the early 1980’s, and is characterized by the synergic integration of the optic in electronic to form the design of hardware and software. The third phase can be considered as the one that started the age of mechatronic, and is based on the development of a computations intelligence and of the information systems. One important characteristic of this last phase in the micro- sensors, integrated in micro- electromechanical systems of in micro mechanics.

Mechatronic in Schools

Since the beginning, mechatronic has been present in the contemporary education in al levels. In Japan it is common that the students of elemental level elaborate projects of the creation of new toys based on the integration on different disciples, in Germany, the united states, and brazil, the students of middle school and university make contest to present technological innovations of different products of popular or industrial use. The main educational cantors of the world have integrated the different areas of the technologies to create new interdisciplinary and multi disciplinary areas.
