A.1. Put object on the plate.2. Put all 3 scales at zero3. Start with 100s scale and move it one over until it is too heavy, and then move it one back. 4. Do the same thing for the 10s scale.5. Do the same thing for the 1s scale until the scale is completely balanced.6. Add the 3 scales together (the 100s place, plus the 10s place, plus the 1s place).
