The series gained popularity quickly, selling over 800,000 copies, and became a syndicated comic strip which ran for almost two years. 30 years later we decided to republish this line of books with new covers, updated text and images. I was the lead for this project, I designed the covers and interiors, I shot all of the interior photographs of Hawkeye’s sketchpad, then superimposed the original sketches into the photographs. I also designed and produced the marketing and sales materials. The photograph to the left is the sales kit I sent to a few of our large buyers.

Corporate branding My first few months working at Meadowbrook Press were met with much frustration… nobody in the company knew what the corporate color or font was, nothing was documented. I have worked hard to clean-up and solidify the existing corporate look, and document the specs so that everyone is on the same page. I have also worked on creating “brands” for many of our books to help strengthen sales and marketability.
