7.1 Shell Hopper/Cyclones Platform – 1 Lot

Arrangement : To support the cyclones from Kernel Recovery station & receive and store shell from the hydrocyclone and LTDS cyclones etc.

Type : Elevated rectangular tank & platform/structure. Construction : The shell hopper shall be fabricated from 6mm thick mild steel

plate and shall be supported by 150mm x 150mm m.s angles suitably stiffened by channels and angles.

All platform manufactured from 4.5 t chequered plate on plain.

All necessary handrails are to fabricated from 38/32mm NB. All toe boards is to be 100 x 4.5t ms flat stitch welded to the plate form deck.

Floor joist for platform are of RSC rigidly secured together

with 65 x 65 angle stiffeners. All channel joists are either welded or bolted to the main bearer beam.

Accessories : All necessary platforms, access from ground to various levels of catwalk and gangways, stairways, hand railings toe-boards etc.

7.2 Fibre and Shell Conveyor – 1 Unit

Arrangement: To convey shell and fibre from cyclones and hopper to boiler fuel feed

conveyor

Type: 600mm diameter “U” screw type.

Capacity: 15 Tons FFB/Hr.

Construction: a) The conveyor shell plate and wear plate shall be fabricated from 6mm thick plates.

b) Spiral scroll shall be fabricated from 6mm thick plates at 450 mm pitch

centers.

c) Main Ribbon pipe shall be of 75mm N.B. black C pipe in sections and joined together by bolts and nuts to short lengths of solid shaft 65mm dia. These connecting shafts will be served as journals for split casing machined cast iron hanger bearing.

Inlet & outlet chute to be provided.

Accessories: a) NTN flange bearing. 65mm

b) Cast iron hanger bearings c/w Nyoil or polyplus bush and grease

nipples & cup protruding out of the conveyor casing & shall not exceed 3000mm c/c. Grease nipples and cups protruding out of conveyor casing.

Drive: The conveyor is to be directly couple to a 5.5 kW Geared motor of final speed of 56 rpm, sf 1.5 via flexible 9” Coupling. A suitable motor mounting bracket is to provided.

7.4 Boiler Fuel Conveyor (Top & Bottom Feeding Type) – 1 Unit

Arrangement : Horizontal conveyor for feeding fuel into the boiler.

Type: Scraper bar endless pan top & bottom-feeding type 600mm width. Capacity : 5 tons fibre/shell per hour.

Construction : The top & bottom carrier frames shall be fabricated , chain Liner shall be 6mm thk m.s.flat bar.

The whole conveyor and platform are supported by framed structure fabricated from channel and strutted by ms angles.

Take up bearings shall be fitted as indicated in the drawings and are to be adjustable type. Tail shaft of 65 mm dia. Machined from EN9 shaft is to be fitted with 2 nos. cast steel 8 teeth x 6” pitch 24,000 lbf chain wheels to accommodate a conveyor chain of 6” x 24,000 lbs breaking load c/w precision fabricated attachments at every 4th link. The ms scraper bars are to weld to the attachment and bolted onto the chain with 2 nos steel bolts and spring washers at each side.

The 65 dia. Drive shaft fitted with similar chain wheels as the tail shaft but with both wheels keyed in is to be mounted on NTN flanged bearing.

Drive : The drive consists of an 5.5 kW x 1450 rpm TEFV squirrel cage

motor connect to speed reducer, sf 1.5. Final speed of conveyor shall be 22 rpm. The reducer and motor shall install on to a rigid m.s. plate c/w with simplex 38 pitch drive chain & sprockets.

Walkway : The walkway running the entire of the conveyor consists of MS expanded metal mesh 1000# and shall be rigidly welded to RSC bearers and angle stiffeners.

Proper access Staircase connecting the walkways and to the floor or to the adjoining conveyors’ shall be provided. Hand railing & kicking plate shall be provided.
