4.1 Fruit Elevators – 1 unit

Arrangement: To convey loose fruits to top cross conveyors. Type Bucket elevator twin chain type. Construction: The body structure shall be constructed in sections. The bottom receiving boot section shall be fabricated from 6mm

thick plate stiffened by angles. The elevator body shall be constructed by 6m thk ms plate, conveyor body cover 3mm

The top section shall also be 6mm thick with an outlet chute. The intermediate sections shall be fabricated from 6 mm thick plate

stiffened by angles 50x50 The guide rails from supporting the buckets shall be of 50 x 50 x 6

angles welded to the shell plate and shall be properly aligned to suit the chain Sprockets and the solid pin chain.

A 6mm thk by 50mm wide chain wears liner welded to guide

angle. Buckets shall be fabricated from 3mm thick plate and bolted on a

special attachment to the convey or Chains at every 4th link of breaking load 36,000 lbs Tensile Strength of PC make chain.

Maintenance platform at top of elevator c/w standard hand railing/toe board and access ladders.

Mechanical/component: The top drive shaft shall be fitted with 2 nos 6” pitch cast steel

sprockets 36,000 lbf suitably parallel key to be c/w 2-M6 Allen set screw and drive end key way and rigidly bolted Plummer block bearings. The tail shaft shall be similarly fitted with 2 no 8 teeth Sprockets and supported by take up bearings as Shown.

Drives: 5.5 kW-helical geared motor of SEW, SF 1.5, via sprockets and

transmission chains to a final speed of 25 rpm. The Drive shall mount on a common rigid ms base plate. The transmission chain shall be Duplex 38 pitch

4.2 Digester – 2 units

Make : EXCEL Capacity : 4500 litres Size : 1390 OD x 3350 mm SL. Type : Non Jacketed Shell : 12mm thick mils steel shell plate Wear Strip : 9mm thick MS plate Steam Heating : Direct steam injection with SUS nozzles. Bottom Plate : 6mm thick SUS lined on 12 mm thick mils steel perforated

bottom plate and with 8mm diameter perforated holes. Bottom flange : 35mm thick mils steel bottom flange c/w 4 pcs removable covers for easy maintenance and inspection. Main Shaft : SUS lined 114mm carbon steel SS400 square shaft c/w 5 pairs cast steel beater arms bolted on cast steel V block and 1 set cast steel expeller arm. Intermediate shaft : 110mm diameter ASSAB 709 intermediate connecting shaft with thrust bearing assembly and flanged connection

for easy installation and maintenance.

Outlet Chute 3mm thick SUS chute c/w perforated oil drainage section, inspection window, access door, rack and pinion manual operated digester door. Motor : 37 kw x 1500 rpm TEFC Squirrel Cage Motor. Accessories : Mechanical level indicator 50 mm thick x 350 deg. C Rockwool 0.7mm thick aluminium cladding

4.3 Twin Screw Press – 2 units

Make/Model : EXCEL Capacity : 20-22 tons FFB per Hour. Construction Head Section :

Split type, open top cast iron spur gearbox consisting of : Spur Gear –ASSAB 760 or equivalent with hardening treatment to 500-550 HB Press Shaft : High Tensile steel ASSAB 705 or equivalent with 900- 1100N/mm2. Bearings : FAG thrust bearing 29424, roller bearing 22228 and 22224 Shaft seal : Double Lip seals in output shaft for better protection against leakage. Shaft Coupling : Robust coupling for shaft connection.

Middle Section :

Well reinforced mild steel section consisting of 70mm separation between middle section and spur gearbox. * Strainer : SUS with 6mm diameter holes bolted to press body. * Press Cage : 15mm thick mild steel with 5mm diameter holes x 24,500 holes * Worm Screw : Manganese steel with Hard Facing on the 1 ½ flights. * Bottom Sump : Lined with SUS plate. * Oil Seal seats : replaceable with bolted type.

End Section : Pressing : Mild steel flat type pressing plate sliding on lengthening shafts. End Plate : Well reinforced 38mm thick mils steel plate Rollers : End section bolted with steel roller for quick removable upon dismantling. Painting : 2 coats of Grey undercoat and 1 finish coat of Pacific Orange. Performance Guarantee (Average):

4.4 Screen Waste Conveyor -1 unit

Arrangement: To convey the vibrating screen waste back to Fruit elevator. Type: 300 mm diameter "U" type screw conveyor Construction: The shell and wear plate of the conveyor shall be Fabricated from

6mm thick mild steel plate suitably Stiffened by angles. Spiral plate shall be 6mm thick M.s plate.

The shaft shall be manufacture from 65mm N.B. black C pipe in

section and joined together by bolts And nuts to short lengths of solid connecting Polished steel shaft.

These short connecting shafts are to serve as journals For the split

casing machined cast iron hanger Bearing as shown in the drawings. The screw at 250 Pitch shall intermediately welded onto the hollow Shaft.

MS plate 2mm removable cover shall be Provided along the entire length of conveyors.

Accessories: a) Cast iron hanger bearings c/w Nyoil/polyplus bush And grease

nipples shall not exceed 3000mm c/c. b) NTN Flange bearings. Drive: The conveyor is direct couple to 1.5 KW x 56 rpm, SF 1.5 speed

reducer Of SEW via 7” direct coupling.

4.5 Circular Vibrating Screen – 1 unit

Make : WATERMECH Model : DDCS 60/2 - 60” double deck

4.6 Vibrating Screens Support Structure -1 lot

Arrangement : To support Circular Vibrating Screens. The solids from the Vibrating Screen shall be Discharged into the fruit elevator. Construction : Mild steel platform supported by UB 150x150 and

RSC 100x50 as beam and angle bracing.

The platform shall be fabricated by 4.5mm thk checkered plate and 38mm/32mm dia. hand railing & kicking plate Shall be provided. Staircase shall be provided.

4.7 Press Super Structure – suitable for 2 units of Press/Digester

Arrangement: One press structure/platform suitable to support Conveyors, digesters and presses & Hot Water tanks, Staircase etc. Construction: The columns shall be fabricated from 200 x 200 x 50 Kg/m U

beam with suitably stiffened channels and Angles. The platform shall be 4.5mm thick checkered Plates and

38mm/32mm diameter black pipe hand Railings 4.5mm x100mm flat as kicking plate.

Main support for Presses use 200x75 RSC stiffened with MS angle

65x65. Main Support for Digestors using RSC 250x90 stiffened with RSA and RSC.

A 200x100 I beam for presse cage service shall be provided Column braced with RSA 75x75

4.8 Hot Water Tank – 1 Units Arrangement: To receive turbine cooling water and heat up the water &

supply hot water to clarification station and press station To receive condensate from Sterilizer condensate pit. Capacity 4.5m3 Dimension 2m x 1.5m x 1.5m(to suit) Construction: The tank shall be fabricated from 6mm thick MS plate

suitably stiffened by angles and supported by RSC.

Accessories: a) Open SS 10 steam coils 38 dia.

b) Mechanical Ball float valve 38mm dia. for cold water make up inlet.(Bronze or alum)

c) Level indicator & 450x450 top manholes.

d) Vent, Inlet, outlets and overflow pipes.

e) The tank shall be insulated by 50mm thick rock wool and

covered with 22 SWG aluminium sheets.

f) Back entry type 150mm dials 0-150 C SS Thermometer c/w SS pocket.

4.9 Crude Oil Tank – 1 Unit Arrangement: Rectangular tank to receive crude oil & skimmed pure oil from vibrating screens. Capacity 6m3 Dimesion 3m x 1.5m x 1.5m(to suit) Construction: The tank shall be fabricated from 6mm thick MS plate

suitably reinforced with angles/RSC. The complete tank is to be covered with 4.5mm thk m.s. plate

cover with inspection manholes & ventilation pipe. Partition plates shall be 6mm MS plate reinforced

by angles/RSC

Accessories: a)SS open coils of dia.38mm sch 10.

b)1 nos 100mm dia. dial 40C to 120C Thermometer c/w SS pocket.

c) 450 x 450 manholes/air vent shall be included. d) Tank shall be insulated by 50mm Rockwool &

0.7 thk plain aluminum cladding.

4.10 Crude Oil Pump – 1 Unit Arrangement: To pump crude oil from crude oil tank to clarifier Tank/Sludge Tank. Type: Centrifugal fully CA15/CA15/SS & M/S construction pump. Capacity: 15 cu. meter/hr at 15m head. Make: KEW. –SEK40 SS304 wet end Fully Stainless steel pump

Speed: Not more than 1600 rpm. Motor: 3 kW motor x aprox 1500 rpm mounted on a rigid common base plate.

4.11 Crude Oil Gutter – 1 Unit

Arrangement: To receive and channel crude oil from Presses to the vibrating

screen Type: 10” dia Stainless Steel 304 pipe Sch10 Construction: One 25mm dia. socket shall be provided for hot water flushing.

4.12 Digestor Feed Conveyor – 1 Unit Arrangement: To convey fruitlets to fruit elevator into digestor

Type: 500mm diameter “U” screw type.

Capacity: 15 Tons FFB/Hr.

Construction: a) The conveyor shell plate and wear plate shall be fabricated from 6mm thick plates.

b) Spiral scroll shall be fabricated from 6mm thick plates at 400 mm pitch centers.

c) Shaft shall be of 75mm N.B. black C pipe in sections and

joined together by bolts and nuts to short lengths of solid shaft. These connecting shafts will be served as journals for split casing machined cast iron hanger bearing.

Inlet & outlet chute to be provided.

Accessories: a) NTN flange bearing. 65mm

b) Cast iron hanger bearings c/w Nyoil or polyplus bush

and grease nipples & cup protruding out of the conveyor casing & shall not exceed 3000mm c/c. Grease nipples and cups protruding out of conveyor casing.

Drive: The conveyor is to be directly couple to a 3 kW Geared motor of SF 1.5 & final speed of 56 rpm via Flexible 9” Coupling. A suitable motor mounting bracket is to be provided.

4.13 Fruit Recycle Conveyor – 1 Unit Arrangement: To recycle excess fruits into fruit elevator.

Type: 500mm diameter “U” screw type.

Capacity: 15 Tons FFB/Hr.

Construction: a) The conveyor shell plate and wear plate shall be fabricated from 6mm thick plates.

b) Spiral scroll shall be fabricated from 6mm thick plates at 400 mm pitch centers.

c) Shaft shall be of 75mm N.B. black C pipe in sections and

joined together by bolts and nuts to short lengths of solid shaft. These connecting shafts will be served as journals for split casing machined cast iron hanger bearing.

Inlet & outlet chute to be provided.

Accessories: a) NTN flange bearing. 65mm

Type: M/S Vertical Cylindrical tank. Capacity 4 m3 Construction: The tank shall be fabricated from 6mm thick mild Steel plate

and supported by 100x100x10 angles Columns. Accessories: a) Open SS Sch 10 steam coils of 25mm dia..

b) 100mm drain ball valve drain pipe. c) One unit of Temperature Gauge 4” dial 0-120C. .
