About Us
The wind power sector is at a very nascent stage in the Asia-Pacific region andthere is a rapidly growing demand for more renewable energy.Acting as the industry representative, the AsiaWind Energy Associationaims to capitalize on this opportunity. Established in December 2016,the AsiaWind Energy Association is the leading trade association forthe wind energy sector in Asia-Pacific.
The association aims to develop and communicate conclusive policiesto support energy regulators and governments in providing betterpolicies for the wind sector and to create a positive investmentenvironment for developers and investors. This will lead to a fasterdeployment of wind energy in the Asia-Pacific region.
The AsiaWind Energy Association acts as the regional platform for allwind power industry stakeholders to collectively promote the bestinterests of the wind power sector. Members include power projectdevelopers, turbine manufacturers, technical consultants, financial institutions,regional associations and other institutions in the wind energy sector.
