Business Problem

• Average of 72000 crashes per year in MS since 2004.

• The data was very poor particularly the location data.

• Algorithms utilized by SAMS (Safety Analysis Management System) did not produce the desired accuracy.

• Potential for flawed analysis due to poor data quality.
