CONCEALABLE SUBSONIC/SUPERSONIC SUPPRESSED SNIPER SYSTEM.The McMillan ALIAS CS5™ is designed for stealth and concealment in urban settings. With the buttstock and suppressor detached, the CS5 is only 23.5” in overall length. It stuffs neatly into backpacks and other inconspicuous carriers, yet it delivers the stopping authority of a .308 projectile.

The bolt action CS5 is a precision tactical rifle offering sub-MOA accuracy with both subsonic or full power .308 Winchester ammunition. Hence, it is a dual purpose firearm serving subsonic as well as traditional sniper rifle roles.

The CS5 is highly ergonomic. The infinitely adjustable buttstock fits any operator, regardless of height, build, bulk of clothing, or shooting position. Index marks allow repeatable stock adjustments and an Anschutz® match trigger adjusts for weight and length of pull. With the threaded muzzle brake and suppressor in place, recoil is minimal and quick follow up shots are easy.

The ALIAS CS5 is sold in suppressed configuration for military and law enforcement applications, but can be purchased by civilians in accordance with NFA rules.

TAC®-50 A1-R2 SPECIFICATIONS

The new TAC®-50 A1-R2 features a hydraulic recoil mitigation system that reduces the peak recoil from the 50 BMG cartridge by approximately 90%.

The heart of the new TAC-50 A1-R2 recoil mitigation system is a proprietary hydraulic piston in the buttstock. As the rifle is fired, the piston compresses, softening the recoil by lowering the peak recoil force and spreading out the recoil over several milliseconds. The sensation for the shooter is that of a long push, rather than a sharp punch.

Additional recoil reduction is provided by the proprietary muzzle brake offered on the TAC-50 A1-R2.

In addition to the new R2TM recoil mitigation system, the TAC-50 A1-R2 features a new take-down A1-style fiberglass stock with a forend that is 5” longer than the original TAC-50 stock, moving the balance point for the

bipod forward. A smaller pistol grip, a lighter sturdier bipod, and a refined self-locking magazine latch add to the improvements.

The McMillan TAC-50 product line continues to be used by military forces around the world as both an ultra-long range anti-personnel tactical rifle, as well as an anti-materiel rifle used for disabling assets at long range. For many military units, it is the benchmark for extreme long range accuracy in a tactical rifle weapons system.

With the new TAC-50 A1-R2, McMillan just made the versatile 50 BMG round much more pleasant to shoot.

TAC®-50 A1 SPECIFICATIONS

McMillan’s new TAC®-50 A1 includes several product enhancements over the original TAC-50 rifle that has been deployed by military forces around the world.

The TAC-50 A1 features a new take-down fiberglass stock with a forend that is 5” longer, moving the balance point for the bipod forward. The TAC-50 A1 includes an integral cheekpiece with an option for vertical pad adjustment. The stock incorporates a smaller pistol grip to fit a wider range of hand shapes, with and without gloves.

The new bipod is lighter, yet sturdier. The legs adjust vertically, as well as forward and rearward to fine tune the rifle for elevation. A new magazine

system offers a positive, self-locking magazine latch that is easier to operate with gloved hands.

As with the original TAC-50, all components are built to match-grade, benchrest standards. The TAC-50 A1 remains the benchmark for extreme long range accuracy in a tactical rifle weapons system.

For anti-personnel or anti-materiel roles, the new TAC-50 A1 remains the precision standard by which all other 50 caliber weapons systems are judged.

Built on the same platform as the renowned TAC-50 rifle currently deployed by military services around the world, the TAC-416 is chambered in the 416 Barrett. The 416 Barrett is based on a shortened 50 BMG case with a .416 caliber bullet and is intended to provide superior long-range ballistic performance compared to the 50 BMG cartridge, especially past 1,000 yards.

McMillan’s magnum-length G30 action is an ideal foundation for a long range tactical rifle. Three classic tactical chamberings include 300 Winchester Magnum, 338 Norma Magnum and 338 Lapua Magnum.

All feature the McMillan A-5 tactical stock with a spacer system, integral adjustable cheekpiece, and flush mount swivel cups.

Choose from a detachable box magazine or a hinged floorplate in both left or right hand configurations.

A heavy, match-grade 26” stainless steel barrel with threaded cap is standard on the 300 Winchester Magnum. The .338 calibers include a threaded muzzle brake, with threaded cap optional.

McMillan’s Mountain ExtremeTM rifle line is specifically optimized for ultra-long range hunting. McMillan Mountain Extreme rifles are built for the EOL Mag series of cartridges developed in conjunction with TV host Bob Beck of Extreme Outer Limits. The EOL Mag series utilizes a standard Ultra Mag parent case, but with very long, high-VLD bullets that are seated out longer than usual to free up additional powder capacity inside the case. The result is higher velocity and less bullet drop at extreme ranges.

McMillan’s Mountain Extreme rifles feature long actions, ejection ports and magazine boxes that can accommodate .338 Lapua and other similar length cartridges. Throats are specifically cut for the EOL Mag cartridge series. Consequently, Mountain Extreme rifles

will deliver extreme performance with EOL Mag ammunition, but can also fire factory Remington Ultra Mag ammunition when desired.

Long barrels maximize velocity and benchrest quality precision components deliver superior accuracy. Three models are available featuring traditional and tactical styled stocks. A unique nickel plated bolt shroud, bolt stop and muzzle brake set the Mountain Extreme series apart visually from the rest of the McMillan line of hunting rifles.
