    CAP: THEREIS MORETHANTHE MEETINGS!

    Capt Esther Medina

The weekly meetings are fun, but there is so much more toCAP. To get the full benefits of the program, you should be-

come involved in other CAP activities. Consider an encamp-ment - in addition to being a lot of fun, attendance at encamp-ment is required for promotion to cadet officer. If you areinterested in learning more about the encampment experi-ence, ask Cadet S. Hendler, who served as Executive Officerat Spring Encampment this year. Also attending IL WingSpring Encampment from MCCS were Cadets Chappell andThreadgill-Lazov. The cadets furthered their CAP educationand are eager to put into practice the skills they developed.

Now it's time to look ahead at some exiting programs andactivities that are available to MCCS cadets. Note: this is nota complete list, just a sampling of activities that are available

    beyond weekly meetings.
