The project is located on a greenfield in East Windsor Township, New Jersey and consists of over 57,000 LDK solar modules (combination of 235 watt and 250 watt), 24 SMA inverters (500 kW), and ASP’s patented Solstice® ballasted mounting system. Originally scheduled for start-up in March 2012, an aggressive construction and equipment delivery schedule was implemented, including overtime and Saturday work with an expanded field crew, to complete the project by the end of 2011. ASP’s ability to get this project done ahead of schedule resulted in over $1,000,000 of tax incentives for the system owner.

This pole-mounted photovoltaic system was installed by Advanced Solar Products at Bausch + Lomb’s headquarters in Rochester, New York. This project was submitted under PON 2589, NYSERDA’s NY-Sun Solar PV Competitive Program. For this project, the following equipment was utilized: 3,667 Canadian Solar 300 watt modules, 28 Solectria PVI-28T (1000VDC string inverters) and 5 Solectria PVI-23TL (1000VDC string inverters), and an RBI Solar racking system.

The project was installed within an existing walking path, and was designed to preserve specimen trees and a surrounding green space.

Advanced Solar Products was awarded this project at the Hopewell Valley High School in Pennington, NJ, under PSE&G’s Solar-4-All Grid Security Pilot Program. The project consists of a 653 kW PV canopy PV system, a 223 kW rooftop PV system and a 500 kW Dynapower Energy Storage System.

This PV system provides power directly to the PSE&G grid under normal operating conditions. During a power outage, both PV systems isolate from the grid and provide emergency power to selected circuits chosen by the Board of Education.

ASP provided equipment, material, design, construction management and commissioning services for the construction of this solar photovoltaic system for the Marlboro Township Municipal Utilities Authority. The PV system consists of two separate arrays; a 300 kW array at Harbor Road and a 600 kW array at Tennant Road. Both arrays were installed using ASP’s Solstice® ballasted mounting system, which is a low profile, ballasted system which can be installed with no ground penetration.

The PV system provides nearly 40 percent of MUA’s electricity needs. At the time of installation, this PV system was one of the largest of its kind in the Northeast. The MTMUA PV system has been successfully operating for several years with minimal operating and maintenance issues.

Advanced Solar Products was contracted by Somerset Tire Service to provide two separate PV arrays on the roof of their newly-constructed warehouse. The systems were designed so that one of the PV arrays feeds power into the warehouse and the other PV array feeds power into an adjacent office building.

ASP installed both ballasted rooftop systems utilizing the following major equipment: 5,488 Mitsubishi 185 W solar modules, 2 SMA 500 kW inverters and ASP’s patented Solstice® ballasted mounting system.
