THE FIRST “HAPPY MEAL” WAS CREATED IN JUNE 1979.

The Happy Meal was made only for children. A toy was usually was included with the food.

The very first happy meal was a Circus Wagon Happy Meal. It cost one dollar and contained a puzzle book as a prize.
