1.BIRTHDAYS

DanielMarfocelebratedhis7thbirthdayonthe8

thofthismonth.Danielwasvery

excitedwhenhereturnedbackfromschooltomeetasurprisebirthdayparty.The

wholefamilyblessedandprayedforhim.Danielthankedthewholefamilyandpromisedthemthathe

willstudyhardandpasshisupcomingendoftermschoolexaminations.

2.LOCALCHURCHVISIT

AssembliesofGodChurch,AshiamanBranchvisitedthehometosharethewordofGodwiththe

children.ThechildrenwereveryexcitedastheysanganddancedtopraisetheLord.Inhismessagethe

leaderofthedelegationsaid,ChildrenaregiftsfromGodandthereforeHelovesandcaresforthem.

Oneofthechurchescoreresponsibilitiesistocarefortheorphanedchildrenandthosewhoneedhelp

spirituallyandphysically.ThedelegationalsopresentedsomeitemstoMCCF.Weareverygrateful.

3.WEDDING!

AuntieKim,oneofourmajorsupportersfromtheUK,got

marriedthismonthtoherGhanaianfianc.Congratulations

fromallofus!Shehasbeenofgreatsupporttothechildren

andtheyallloveher.FriendsandfamilyfrombothLondon

andGhanagracedherwedding.

4.DONATIONS

Mrs.TawiahAddoAnshong,alocallegalpractitionerdonatedacomputersettothehome.The

computercamejustintimetoassistthechildrenintheirstudies.Unfortunatelyinthepastanytimethe

childrenstudiedInformation/ComputerTechnologyatschool,theyfounditdifficulttopracticeathome

sinceweonlyhadonecomputer.Nowthereisanextracomputertheycanpracticeon.Thiswillgoa

longwaytohelpingthempickupontheirinformation/computertechnologystudies.

5.FATHERSDAY

Rev.FatherEllisoftheAnglicanChurchinvitedthechildrentoafilmshowatAsutuareStonelodgeinthe

EasternRegionofGhanatocelebrateFathersday.Theylistenedtoasermonontheimportanceand

roleoffathers.Theyspenttheafternoonatagamereservelearningaboutanimals.

ChildreneatingattheLodge Childrenatthegamereserve

6.VISITFROMUNCLEANDY

UncleAndyvisitedthechildrenatschoolwhilehewasonaworkingvisittoGhana.Heisacolleagueof

AuntieKim.HedonatedlotsofitemsandstartedbuildingarelationshipwiththechildrenandMCCF.We

arehappytohaveanothersupporter!
