Task 160 (TTCN) - FundingTask 160 (TTCN) - Funding• Completion of all contracts for the received 3GPP 2001 funding
(26 mm) for the 1 half of this year.
• PCG acknowledged the needs from TSG-T for the funding shift from FY 2002 to FY 2001 and approved the request.
• A call for the TTCN voluntary contributions has been circulated within the SDOs (ref. ETSI CL 2083).
– Answer deadline set to end of May,
– 6 mm of the voluntary funding from Motorola received,
– The remaining need for the 2nd half of 2001 will be funded by the shifted funding.
• For the further spending request for TTCN project during FY2002 and 2003, requested budget (58mm with 50% extra allowance) will be discussed in October.
Progress & MeasuresProgress & Measures• Progress in TTCN draft
– 400 TTCN test cases available in 34.123-3 v.102,
– 60 new GMM test cases drafted,
– TTCN for SS control largely updated in accordance with ASP update v.102 (RAB reconfiguration, security & DL channel power control) .
• During Feb. – May, 3 TTCN experts were available.
• Considering high CR volume in the core spec, two experts allocated for the TTCN maintenance.
• Warning: the goal for 460 TTCN test cases in June will NOT reached. (estimated 410).
• In order to maintain the Sept. goal to approve 34.123-3, additional 3-4 experts will be started soon. Their result is expected in August.
– L2 (MAC, PDCP & BMC) tests,
– Multi-cell TTCN tests (RRC measurement and idle mode),
– SMS over PS.
