MCB 101 and MCB 102 for High School Students
Dual University of Arizona course credit (3 units) and high school/CTE/Science credit for Bioscience course taught in the high school
Emphasizing biotechnology, applications, careers and conducting research
Exposure to University faculty, Libraries and Research

What are MCB 101 and MCB 102?
Students are expected to develop skills in the following areas: DNA and Protein Gel Electrophoresis Polymerase Chain Reaction Solution Preparation Microbiology and Spectrophotometry Independent research
Techniques Learned in MCB 101 and MCB 102
STEP 1— Complete the Parent Consent Form Must be turned in before on-line application is completed
STEP 2 — Complete the Non-Degree Seeking Undergraduate application for University of Arizona by January 14th — Do not pay application fees!
STEP 3 — Register and pay (by February 4th) through the UA Outreach College, four ways to pay:
