Our goal will always remain to facilitate prayers/worship at the Masaajids without compromising the safety and security of everyone. As a community it is our mutual responsibility to follow the guidelines in hopes to keep everyone safe.

Note: All programs, gatherings, classes & activities will be cancelled during this time until further notice. Masjids will be closed during all other times except during prayers.

• Children less than 7 years old will not be allowed • Persons age 65 years or older are requested to pray at home • All attendees must register online or onsite. (On site will be based on vacancy

and first come first save basis). • Prayer shall be limited to 100 persons for each designated area • Attendees are allowed inside prayer hall 10 minutes prior to the prayer. • Security personal will be onsite to confirm registration, compliance of attendees

and reserve the right to refuse entry to patrons non-compliant with rules and regulations.

• Attendees must always wear facial masks from the time of entry until leaving premises (Appropriate Mask approved by CDC. No Bandanas are allowed)

• Maintain a minimum of six feet distance between each other • Prayer attendees must come with wudu, there will be no access to any restrooms • All Attendees must bring their own prayer rugs • Participant may be subjected to screened for symptoms of fever or illness • Attendees will occupy/lay prayer rug at designated/marked spots inside the

prayer hall that are marked in compliance with the social distancing.

8-10 Feet Separation at MCA

• No Sunnah prayers are allowed after completion of Fardh prayer attendees are required to immediately leave premise adhering to the social distancing guidelines.

• Patrons are not allowed to greet/hug, socialize inside or outside premises in violation of 6ft social distancing guidelines.

• Please use hand sanitizer before and after visiting MCA • Masjid will be closed immediately after each prayer.

Members registered to a particular prayer area are not allowed to occupy a different area per the *multiple area indoor gathering rule (i.e: If you are registered for the Women’s prayer area, you will need to enter from the designated area for the women’s prayer hall only. Coming in early and occupying a vacant space in the men’s prayer hall will not be permitted). Per County guidelines.

**Don’t Attend Gatherings If You Feel Sick or You Are in a High-Risk Group

• If you feel sick or have any COVID-19-like symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, night sweats, sore throat, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, tiredness, muscle or body aches, headaches, confusion, or loss of sense of taste/smell), stay home and do not attend any gatherings.

• people at higher risk of severe illness or death from COVID-19 are strongly urged not to attend any gatherings.

• People aged 50 years and older • People who live in a nursing home or long-term care facility • People of all ages with underlying medical conditions, particularly if not

well controlled, including: • Chronic lung disease or moderate to severe asthma • Serious heart conditions • Compromised immunities

• Many conditions can cause a person to have compromised immunities, including cancer treatment, smoking, bone marrow or organ transplantation, immune deficiencies, poorly controlled HIV or AIDS, and prolonged use of corticosteroids and other immune-weakening medications

• Severe obesity (body mass index [BMI] of 40 or higher) • Diabetes • Chronic kidney disease undergoing dialysis • Liver disease • People who are pregnant.

Disclaimer MCA and its management are doing their best to follow the Federal/State/County Laws. While much uncertainty and apprehension remain, we do know that COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. It may also spread by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching your mouth, nose, or eyes. MCA is holding religious services based on the Federal/State/County guidelines and is not responsible for any virus transmission which may be beyond its control. Hence it is up to the congregant to make the informed individual decision to attend the Prayer at MCA or pray at home. Note: Registering for the prayer means you are acknowledging that you will follow all rules and agree with the above disclaimer.

2. Asr to Isha: Paid Security officer 5 Hour Shift 3.30 – 8.30PM 7 days a week

3. Jummah: Paid Security member from 11.30-2.30pm 3 hours

Security/staff Duties: (Always wear mask & Gloves)

4. Arrive 30 minutes before prayer: Open Masjid, set up registration table (sign up app, masks, hand sanitizers, plastic wrap roll to use as prayer rugs, display placard at entry point. Sanitize door handles, Leave entry door fully open

5. Register, scan QR code for all patrons 6. Will not allow entry without face covering. prayer rug (Or provide

temp ones available) 7. Close door once prayer starts and go inside and manage

compliance and social distancing 8. Upon completion of prayer making sure all patrons leave

immediately following social distancing protocols. 9. Prayer area sanitization: Spray Disinfectant pray after each

prayer before closure, store table and signage inside and close masjid.

5. Mark Prayer spots: (Maximize entire area to fit 100 spots to include

Imam.

6. Ventilation: Open windows and doors as much as possible, purchase a

few air purifiers to use in areas with poor circulation & upgrade HVAC air filters to MERV 13 ($1500 Annual cost increase. This filters down to 0.3–1.0 micron particle size includes, bacteria and Sneeze Nuclei (Currently MERV 8 ) which does not. Ideal preference would be MERV 17 which filters virus carriers but MCA HVAC cannot handle this filter.

7. Submit plan to county for approval
