ABOUT USWe are a refrigeration company based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire and specialise in the installation, removal, safe disposal and maintenance of commercial refrigeration display equipment and cold rooms throughout the UK.

The company owners have over 30 years experience in the industry. MC Refrigeration was established in 2004 and has grown successfully from there.

Our customer base include all the major high street retailers : Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Co-Op, Morrison’s, Booker, M&S, BP and many local independent stores / outlets including catering and hospitality venues.

We are also approved contractors for all major UK airports and train stations.

We have various cabinet installers and fabric maintenance engineers based in throughout the UK who have a vast experience and cold rooms that are either made in the UK or imported from overseas. All of our teams are fully trained in Health & Safety to meet the very strictest criteria set in the industry as safety is paramount to our employees and clients.

We can resite your cabinets within your store using the latest specialist equipment, this ensures that any vinyl floor you may have will not be damaged when moving these around.

Removals & Disposals

MC Refrigeration Ltd is a fully licensed Upper Tier Waste Carrier & Broker and is licensed to safely dispose of ALL refrigeration cabinets, air conditioning equipment, refrigeration packs, condensers and compressors to the current WEEE Legislation.

All refrigeration equipment has a form of hazardous waste within it, whether it’s the gas or the insulation, CFC, HCFC of HFC and this must be transported, stored and disposed of in accordance with the Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005.

All equipment taken for safe disposal to the processing plant will be disposed of and recycled and a disposal certificate issued to us which we will then send to you.

Environmental Agency Waste Brokers Licence Number: CB/BN5710AR.

We have a 20,000 sq ft warehouse facility in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire which is fully racked out to accommodate our customers stock requirements.

The facility is covered by an excellent CCTV, as is the whole trading estate. The estate has a manned security service working out of hours and weekends.

Transport & Warehousing

• Our customers will receive a monthly computerised stock update

• Free inspection of equipment upon delivery • Out of hours forklift unloading and reloading • Flexible storage rates • All used equipment will be cleaned before it comes into

the premises • We can deliver ALL the equipment to anywhere within the

UK, unloading at site can be via a tail lift or a moffett mounted forklift

All our vehicles are available at very competitive rates from a small / large van, 7.5t to a 44ft artic curtain-siders, HIAB truck and flat trailers.

Chiller & Freezer Trailer Hire

For any business to be without suitable refrigeration or freezing can be a huge problem. For a few of our customers our temporary chiller/freezer trailers are the ideal solution for chilling and freezing food while repairs take place to their existing coldroom.

We have a range of Multi temp trailers, which can be set to either Chillers or Freezers. All our trailers come with the below:

• Run off a 13amp plug or 16A commando socket • Step to enter the trailer • Power lead which is 20m from unit to socket • Interior lighting • Lockable doors • Strip Curtains to prevent fluctuation in temperature while the door is open • Internal 4 tier racking in all trailers
