    Construction projects constitute challenging management tasks. In order tomanage construction projects, project managers require accurate and timely progressinformation in order to be able to respond to problems and delays in the constructionprocess.In construction world Management is defined as: Planning the Work, Organizing People and Processes around the Work Plan, Monitoring Behaviors and Results.All our construction managers perform the above three functions daily. Planning,Organizing and Monitoring well is what all good managers do. The great ones motivatepeople consistently. That is leadership directly on point. We conclude everyone whohas subordinates in construction is a Leader Manager.They must lead, but at the same time, must perform specific managerial activities. Itis part of their responsibility. Managing for profit is not a military style of leadership.It is different. In our contracting business, all our employees rely on theircompensation and benefit package for their future.

    GENERAL SAFETY RULES

    Safety is the constant concern of MBCC. Every precaution has been taken toprovide a safe workplace. Our safety officers make regular inspections and holdsregular safety meetings. They also meet with management to plan and implementfurther improvements in our safety program. Common sense and personal interest insafety are still the greatest guarantees of labor safety at work, on the road and at home.We take safety seriously and any willful of habitual violation of safety rules will beconsidered cause for dismissal.The cooperation of every employee is necessary to make our company remarkable safeplace to workACCIDENT REPORTING:Any injury at work no matter how small must be reported immediately to thesupervisor and receive first aid attention. Serious conditions often arise from smallinjuries if they are not care for at once.Labors must observe & obey the rules & guidelines as specified in the Safety Booklet.

    Management Information System

    MBCC uses a centralized Database, linking all departments together:HR, Purchasing, Tender, Contracts, Analytical Accounting, Fixed Assets/PMV,Warehouses, Personnel and Secretary.

    MBCC automated the whole work of all departments in order to speedup the cooperation between all departments and the response to the sitesrequirements. For this,MBCC is using the best IT technology.

    MBCC has installed IT systems on sites, where the site administrationcan track all suppliers deliveries, process material requests, process all labor formsneeded for the daily work and the possibility to process the daily or weekly reportsprepared by the project manager for the Top Management of the company.

    MBCC has also installed IT systems in the camps to track all laborstransactions as Health, room situation or other matters.

    Quality ControlQuality generally refers to a certain degree or level of excellence.

    Today, bases for competition no longer just focus on cost, but on other key successfactors such as quality, flexibility, service and innovation.Quality Control is a set of procedures intended to ensure that the construction process issufficiently high quality. Of course the quality criteria should meet the requirements ofthe owner at any stage of the construction process.For this reason, the Top Management of MBCC decided which quality standards theconstruction process must apply. When variances exist, corrective action must be taken.If too many unit failures occur, an immediate action plan must be implemented and putinto action to improve the construction operations.We are proud of our work standards which are respected and followed by all companystaff. We believe that company quality control standards have the ability to satisfystated or implied needs.On other hand, we think that the price to be paid for the construction of a buildingis a reflection of the expectations of quality.One important criteria should be mentioned here is also related to the timing of whenthe building is delivered.So, at the end we can say that Quality control in the construction industry may beseen as following:

    To deliver a building which satisfies the owner To deliver a building where quality and time are related to the price.

    For this, the management of quality control has to be planned to reflect all constructionstages:

    How to set the quality standards required by owner. How to define and apply construction methods and how to choose equipments,

    materials and personnel. How to discover any quality deficiencies and to correct them. How to develop a quality culture.

    At least, quality is proportional to costs associated with the construction process. Costsassociated with quality need to be identified for management decisions.

    Therefore, Quality assurance will be applied to ensure that the constructionprocess takes place within the framework of a quality management system.
