A Tradition of SuccessMontclair State University is home to more than 18,000 students in six schools and colleges.

With a student-faculty ratio of 17:1 and an average class size of 23, we combine the resources of

a large university with the personalized attention of a small school. The strength of our programs,

together with our 250-acre, architecturally inspiring suburban campus just 14 miles west of New

York City, attracts a growing number of applicants to Montclair State each year.

The School of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of

Business (AACSB) International, the global leader in business education accreditation standards,

and recently earned a place on Princeton Review ’s list of “Best Business Schools.” Nearly 2,000

undergraduate and graduate students participate in our full- and part-time programs.

The MBA at Montclair State The School of Business at Montclair State University is proud to launch its innovative,

market-centric Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. Balancing academic

rigor, business theory, and practical market relevance, it provides a strong foundation for

your future success.

The newly redesigned MBA program accommodates students with diverse academic

backgrounds and features courses that reflect the realities of today’s global marketplace.

A cohort structure enables students to progress through the program with the same group

of classmates, forging long-lasting personal and professional relationships.

You can earn your MBA in as little as 24 months while attending classes two evenings per

week at our Montclair, NJ campus or in as little as 18 months while attending our Saturday

MBA program at our satellite location at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, NJ.

Innovative 1.5-credit courses provide exposure to a broad spectrum of business areas

Executive speaker series that connects classroom education with professional experience

Seven- to ten-day international study trip spotlighting political and cultural conditions in the global economy

Small classes taught by top-tier faculty combine practical and theoretical expertise

Students can pursue up to two areas of concentration by completing an additional 6-12 credits of elective coursework

Main Campus MBA Program: Earn an MBA in as few as 24 months through convenient

weeknight classes

Saturday MBA Program: Earn an MBA in as few as 18 months of Saturday classes

Master of Science in Accounting

Developed for students with undergraduate degrees or concentrations in Accounting who

want to expand their skills and pursue Certified Public Accounting (CPA) certification

Post MBA Certificate Programs

For students who have earned their MBA degrees and wish to continue their

professional development in Accounting, Finance, International Business, Management,

Management Information Systems, or Marketing
