Lion. T. Sethupati is a postgraduate in agricultural sciences (M.Sc. Agri) from Tamilnadu
Agricultural University. On completion of his studies he has taken over the family business,
which is known as B.G.group, a well diversified marketing organization, which represents many
multinational companies like ITC Ltd, Hindustan Unilever Ltd, and Eveready Industries India Ltd
etc. He manages B.G.group operations and also manages 300 acres of Agro Farming. He is
associated as an Executive member of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore,
Secretary of Pollachi Merchants Association and Trustee of Sri Kanniga Parameshwari Amman
Devastanam. He is also the former president of Pollachi East Lions Club. He is the Chairman of
STC.
2. Mr. S. Venkkatesh, Vice - Chairman
Mr. S. Venkkatesh is a commerce graduate from University of Madras and on completion of his
graduation he took over the Management of the B.G. group of companies. He is the President of
Sri Kannika Parameswari Amman Charitable Trust and Vice President of Pollachi Chamber of
Commerce and Industry. He is also a past president of Rotary Club of Pollachi. Mr. S.
Venkkatesh is currently the Vice - Chairman of the Board of Management of STC.
3. Lion. M. A. Vijayamoghan, Secretary
Lion.M.A.Vijayamoghan is a graduate in Economics from Madras Christian College. He has
acquired more than 25 years of experience in Commerce and business management. He owns
many business enterprises which deal in telecom, textiles, agro-based products, petroleum
products etc. He is managing a 1textile spinning mill, coffee and cardamom plantation and a
distribution company. He is the executive member of the Pollachi Chamber of Commerce &
Industry and Director of Pollachi Viyabarigal Sangam. He is also a core group trainer of District
324B1 of Lions international. He is currently the Secretary of STC.
4. Mr. M. Settu, Director General
Mr. M. Settu is a Commerce Graduate and M.B.A. of PSG College of Technology. He won
several academic awards which include the “OUTSTANDING M.B.A. AWARD” for 1982 from
Coimbatore Management Association. He operates as CEO of Syndicate Exports Pvt Ltd an
export oriented chemical / refractory manufacturing company. He is a fellow of the All India
Management Association and served as the President of the Coimbatore Management Association
and as the Secretary of Coimbatore Productivity Council. He is also associated with CII & Indian
Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He has acquired two decades of experience in business
management, finance and corporate planning, strategic management, policy formulations,
management of international business, joint venture & foreign collaborations. He is associated
with as member of Governing Council, Academic Council and Board of Studies. He is a member
of the Planning Board and Senate member of Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. He is the
Director General of STC.

10.10 Student feedback mechanism on Institutional Governance/faculty performance:
Three Types of Feedback
Faculty Performance
i) For general assessment of teaching staff. Feedback is obtained from all students in an ISO
designed form, using non departmental staff. Consolidated at the college level and used for staff
performance assessment along with staff own self assessment.
ii) An exhaustive specially designed feedback form for qualitative input regarding teaching
ability of all faculties from students randomly selected from A, B and C category of students.
iii) Feedback from each student on each event beyond the academics such as seminar, guest
lecture and soft skill training, etc. All these excelling are collate and average derived.
Institutional Governance
Suggestion box are kept outside the principal office and in the administration office, where
suggestion note are dropped by the students with or without their names. These are regularly
analysed, prioritized and action taken quickly and effectively.
10.11. Grievance redressal mechanism for faculty, staff and students:
Students
i) Suggestion box in which students drop a note regarding their grievances, if they want to remain
unanimous. These are again analysis and effective action taken immediately.
ii) There is a grievance committee to which students can represent directly and such representations
are analysed by the grievance committee and recommendations made. These are acted upon
immediately.
iii) There is a separate women’s grievance committee consisting of lady staff members and it’s operate
in the same way.
iv) In the event of discipline related issues a separate discipline committee investigates the same with
appropriate recommendations and actions.
v) The students are encouraged to meet the deans and principal directly in the event of grievances
which cannot wait for the earlier process.
vi) A separate centre for counseling operates and counsels the students, if the grievance calls for
counseling.
Staff
All the administrative staff is encouraged to represent the grievances directly to their supervisors,
they are also free to represent directly to higher authorities like deans, principal and governing
body either in person or in writing, such grievances are handled with care and caution to keep the
motivation of the staff at high level.
Faculty
The grievances of the faculties are generally handled by their direct representation to
concern deans in the event of faculty not being satisfied they can represent to a separate faculty
grievance cell.

and faculty by counseling and guidance
