1. What is the general area that you are interested in?

Human Resource Management as general topic but delegation of authority in

particular. This research will investigated that how the delegation of authority

can play critical role in the performance excellence of the organization?

In addition to that the in-depth analysis will be carried over that how an

employee gets into the work which he/she is assigned for and what may be the

outcomes from it? If there are sort of variance that may occur in the work

process then what can be the leading factors that can boost to vary from the

benchmark? Moreover, the motivational factors will be discussed as they can

also be the reason for the performance excellence and they can be driving force

for effective delegation of authority.

That how workforces get motivated through flow of delegation of authority?

That how the delegated authority is exercised and in what way and what may be the

trickle down affects of its flow on the organizational excellence?

That how the work force get involved with the work and what factors can affect their

working capability and can bring their best of performance at work?

That to analyse the factual position and the real time performance level at more than

six delivery units of pizza hut and how they implement human resources policies

within the organization. This is to investigate how to delegate the authority and in

what way it affects the performance. If there is any variance in either performance or

the implementation of the delegation of authority then will suggest the ways and

solutions that will help Pizza hut management to implement the delegation in the

right way to meet the benchmark.

Questionnaires and the interviews will be conducted from at least 10 managers and

30 team members.

The journals and the reports of Pizza hut will be analysed.

The data available as secondary source will be analysed.

8. Summarise the methods that you will use to analyse data and information.

The samples will be interviewed and the data will be analysed through statistical

tools as such, mean, mode, median, standard deviation, variances and the test of

hypothesis methods and the results will be supported by the numerical analysis as a

proof which will be analysed through the responses and the feedback that will be

taken from the samples.

9. Review and summarise the main bodies of theory that underpin your Dissertation or

Project. (This review must include citations to research literature - e.g. journal

articles, research archives, etc.)

The Pizza Hut (UK) has the reputation in the market place for the pizza business. The

management believes in the people and bring about the ways that can make employees happy at work. The secret of successful large scale business especially in restaurant and home delivery is people. This requires not only the tireless commitment, skill and dedication of the team, but also the emergence of a strong and balanced motivation at work. The positive motivation at work certainly leads to the optimal results. The ever changing environment and the multicultural environment some time might lead to the less implementation of proper human resource policies at work. So, this research going to disclose the real factors that may cause those variations in the implementation of the actual policies at work.

At present I don’t see any of the hassles that may come in a way of this dissertation.
