The overall site is approximately 12,000m 2 in area. The showroom and associated offices and amenities area comprises of 880m 2 of GFA plus 330m 2 of mezzanine. The 18 bay workshop, adjacent spare parts area and associated amenities and offices comprises of 1,365m 2 of GFA plus 415m 2 of mezzanine. Works commenced on site in late 2015 on what was essentially a greenfield site that required extensive civil works to enable the building works to commence. The end built product has become AHG’s flagship motor dealership, which will be used as a template for future dealerships. Alder and more importantly our Client are absolutely thrilled with the end result and we look forward to working with AHG on the delivery of their future vehicle dealerships. The works were delivered on time and on budget. Works Undertaken Some of the key components of this project were: • Significant thought has gone into the architectural appeal of the Building design. The Showroom for example includes extensive use of porcelain tiling, incorporation of high set ceilings, LED lighting as well as a massive glass curtain wall. The end result is spectacular. • The 18 bay state of the art and fully equipped workshop would be the envy of any trade mechanic. • Externally, over 200 parking bays are provided in addition to the external showroom display area all with the use of an asphalt pavement design.
