Goal of the Workshop:• At the end of the workshop the
participants will be familiar with the concept of the following collaboration plan:

What is Collaboration?• It is define as:
– The act of working together; united labor.
– the act of willingly cooperating with an enemy, especially an enemy nation occupying one's own country.
Why is it Important?
• Sharing ideas and methods help improve learning environment.
• Able to identfy teachers weaknesses.
• Teacher will be exposed to different method of teaching.
• Making learning more fun and interesting to the student.
Compare between Teacher Centered
and Learner Centered.
Teacher Centered Approach…
• Teacher make student draw figure• Student have to follow the teacher• Teacher is on the lead• Student echo on what teacher say• Student must follow what teacher
say.
Learner Centered Approach…
• Student are encourage to think for themselves.
• Express ideas by themselves• Teacher only act as a coordinator and
not giving any solutions for the problem• Student are asked to make their own
findigns.• Learning is fun and interesting to
student.
What type of Activity for these methods?...
• How can we realize activity:– Step 1: Set the familiar intersting situation
(teacher lead student to the object of the lesson, by using why, and how)
– Step 2: Extract the main problem from student themselves. (Teacher sets and control classroom descussion)
– Step 3: Summarize what was important in the lesson.
Why do we realize activity?
• Is this learning?– Perform according to the command
of the teacher.– Memorize without no meaning and no
purpose.
We must keep this in mind!!
Learner Centered Approach will be realized by the child lively Actions.
In collaborative activity..
• Classroom becomes learner center.• The children think and solve
problem on their own.• Teacher work collaboratively to
improve their strategies.• Student become exposed to a lot
of different style of learning and teaching.
