Mayday Safety App Quick Start Guide
1. Mayday ButtonPress 3 times to send a Mayday alert to all (nearby, family, and organization)

Installing Mayday Safety App
1 Enter name and phone number.
2 Enter verification code sent via text message to number provided.
3 Share location. Select “always” to receive nearby alerts.
Continue….
4 Allow push notifications to receive alerts on iPhone and Apple Watch.
5 Test Mayday button by pressing 3 times. Note the counter reset feature.
6 See alert notification that others will receive from your Mayday alert.
7 See what others (nearby, family, and organizations) will see in their Mayday Safety App when receiving your Mayday alert.
1. Mayday Button
1. Mayday ButtonPress 3 times to send a Mayday alert to all (nearby, family, and organization).
Note: After each press, a counter will start to reset the press count back to 0 presses.
After the tour-mode after installing, this button is LIVE and will send out a real Mayday alert.
Any family members you have added, those nearby, and any organizations you have joined will see the alert.
To cancel alert, press the “I’m Safe” button that appears during alert mode.
Home/MainPress to return to home/main view
Family MenuPress to return to the family menu. A red dot will appear when there’s an active alert from a family member and the member’s name will turn red with a mayday button
2. Family Menu
Add MembersPress here to add family members from your contacts.
MembersCurrent family members.
Alert FamilyPress here to send an alert ONLY to your family members.
Safety Check/EditPress three dots next to member’s name to send a “safety check” to that member.
The member will receive a notification asking if they’re safe.
A pending safety check turns their name purple and a “I’m Safe” response turns it green.
3. Nearby Alerts
Receive AlertsChoose whether to receive nearby alerts
Nearby AlertsPress to return to the nearby alerts. A red dot will appear when there’s an active alert nearby.
EmergenciesNearby emergencies will appear here
Org. DetailsIf you have joined an organization, the org’s details will appear here.
OrganizationsPress to return to organizations. A red dot will appear when there’s an active alert or message in the organization.
4. Organizations
MessagesMessages from the organization and options for feedback (if enabled) will appear here.
Non-EmergenciesIf the organization has non-emergency functionality enabled, you will be able to report issues to the organization here.
