NOTES FROM THE OFFICE May 27, 2020 Hello to all, It’s wonderful to know that St. Pius X Church will reopen this week-end. Consider this a first small step towards normalcy! Mass will be offered at 4:00pm on Saturday and at 8:00am and 10:30am on Sunday. Attendance is limited, to ensure social distancing. Daily Mass will also be offered once again! As the church is reopening, a graduation ceremony, including Mass will be scheduled, where the Class of 2020 will celebrate with immediate families. The date will be announced ASAP, once Fr. Paul and the parish staff have an opportunity to institute and implement required safety protocols. The goal is to keep everyone healthy! We have just-under three weeks of school for most of our students. Students and parents, time to check and make certain required work has been submitted. A number of students are missing work. Chasing down the work from students has proved a challenge during distance learning! There are two places to check for assignments. The first place to cross reference these assignments would be the portal. If there is an annotation of "mw" in any category, that indicates a missing assignment that should have been submitted for a grade. The second would be on a class/subject's Google Classroom page. Click on "Classwork," then "view your work" in the top left corner. This will list all assignments for that class and categorize it as either turned in or missing. Middle school students know they have until Monday, 6/1 to submit any missing assignments. After that deadline, any graded assignments that are not turned in will be graded as a 0%. All students are required to have an updated physical exam every 3-4 years and upon entering 4th and 7th grade. Participation in athletics requires a physical exam within 13 months of the start of the activity.

JB Pride Uniforms Reopening Plan
The JB Pride Uniforms team would like to thank our friends at St. Pius X School for your continued partnership. We are adjusting our process so we can service St. Pius X School in a SAFE and meaningful way for students, parents, and our employees for the 2020 Back to School Season. We will be emphasizing our online fulfillment, offering contact free curbside pickup, a dedicated phone order and uniform fitting guidance service, in store fitting by appointment, and an enhanced website. We will continue to bring you the service and convenience you need, even if it may look a little different than it has in the past. The health of our customers and our staff will be our priority, and our planning has been shaped by this. We want to be sure the approach we are taking to reopen our stores is thoughtful, and that we are creating a store environment that is safe for St. Pius X School and our employees. Our stores will be open to the public only after state and local governments have allowed us to open and we have the confidence we can ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers. Once we reopen, more than anything, we want St. Pius X School to feel safe and comfortable when your parents shop with us. We are adjusting our stores and the way we serve you to help keep everyone healthy. Some of those updates include: conducting daily health/temperature screenings for our staff; providing face coverings and gloves for our staff; taking steps to allow for social distancing of six feet or more, including limiting the number of employees and customers in the store at one time; insisting customer’s wear masks; increasing the cleaning and sanitization of our stores; modifying the fitting-room experience; offering contactless curbside services for pick up and returns; pausing or adapting high-touch services and customer events; and keeping tried-on or returned merchandise off the sales floor for a period of at least one day. We need St. Pius X School assistance! It is important our customers, whenever possible, shop EARLY, and, whenever possible on-line or over the phone. All of these safety precautions will make the “last minute” rush for school uniforms impossible for
