Week by Week through The Year of Mercy

Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, The word Mercy, Pope Fran-

cis declared in his announcement of the Jubilee Y ear of Mercy,

“reveals the very mystery of the Most Holy Trini-

ty” (Misericordiae Vultus, 2). For Mercy is how God comes to meet us; Mercy is the fundamental law helping us recognize eve-

ryone as brothers and sisters; mercy is the bridge connect-

ing God and humanity, opening our hearts to the hope of

being loved forever despite our sinfulness. God’s self-

revelation as a life-giving, love-sharing Trinity of per-

sons draws us closer to God in friendship and com-

munion. Both Judaism and Islam consider mercy one

of God’s most important attributes. Israel unceasingly

proclaims God boundless in mercy. Islam addresses

the Creator as “Merciful and Kind”, believing divine

mercy limitless, its doors always open. May this Jubi-lee Year of Mercy, Pope Francis prays, open us to more

fervent dialogue, deepen our mutual understanding, elim-

inate all closed-minded disrespect, and drive out every

form of violence and discrimination.

Semana tras semana durante el Año de la Mesericordia

Solemnidad de la Santísima Trinidad, La palabra misericordia, Francis-

co declaró en su anuncio del Año Jubilar de la Merced ", revela el mis-

terio de la Santísima Trinidad" (Misericordiae Vultus, 2). Para la

Merced es cómo Dios viene a nuestro encuentro; La misericordia es la

ley fundamental ayudarnos a reconocer a todos como hermanos y her-

manas; piedad es el puente que une a Dios y la humanidad,

abriendo el corazón a la esperanza de ser amado por siempre a

pesar de nuestro pecado. auto-revelación de Dios como

dador de vida, el amor para compartir Trinidad de per-

sonas nos acerca más a Dios en la amistad y la co-

munión. Tanto el judaísmo y el Islam consideran merced

uno de los atributos más importantes de Dios. Israel

proclama sin cesar a Dios sin límites en misericordia.

Islam se dirige al Creador como "misericordioso y bon-

dadoso", en la creencia divina misericordia sin límites,

sus puertas siempre abiertas. Que este Año Jubilar de la

Merced, Francisco reza, abrirnos a más viva, el diálogo,

profundizar en el conocimiento mutuo, eliminar toda la falta

de respeto de mente cerrada, y expulsar a toda forma de

violencia y discriminación.

a child. Praise is an important aspect of raising a confident

child. When you praise a child, not only do you raise their

self-esteem and self-concept but you increase their overall

self-worth. One thing you can do is focus on the child and

Baptismal Class The exciting and meaningful experience of Baptism

strengthens our families and parish community with

God. Whether baptized as a baby or an adult, Parents

and Godparents need to attend a Baptismal class be-

fore baptizing his or her child. Baptismal classes are

scheduled the last Tuesdays of each month. The next scheduled

baptismal class is Tuesday May 31, at 6:30 p.m. in the Parish

Hall, please arrive on time.

Breakfast hosted by the Knights of Columbus will

be held on Sunday, May 29th, after the 10 a.m.

Mass in the Par ish Hall. All Par ish

mothers are invited but reservations

Notice Divine Mercy Message Queen of Angels Divine Mercy has a small

faith group called Cenacle and we meet weekly

on Wednesdays at 1:00 pm in the hall,

(1) to pray for and encourage vocations to the

priesthood and the religious life;

(2) to pray and work for an end to the scourge

of abortion in the world;

(3) to experience the fullness of our Catholic

Faith through the study of Sacred Scripture,

the Catechism of the Catholic Church and

the Diary of Saint Faustina Kowalska.

valoración en general. Una cosa que se puede hacer es enfocarse en

el niño y describir lo que ve. Por ejemplo, usted puede decir, “Tú

Las imagines de nuestro Dios trino abundan en las lecturas de

hoy. Nos hacen un llamado a mantener un espíritu de acción

de gracias por el mundo creado, que procura belleza, alegría e

intensidad para nuestra vida. San Pablo nos dice que, por el

poder del Espíritu Santo, el amor de Dios se ha infundido en

nuestro corazón. Al escuchar estas de hoy, seamos agradeci-

dos por el amor abundante de Dios.

Clases Bautismales La experiencia emocionante y significativa del Bautismo

fortalece nuestras familias y de la comunidad parroquial

con Dios. Ya sea bautizado cuando era un bebé o un adulto,

el Bautismo es el primer paso en un viaje de por vida

con Dios. Los padres y padrinos deben asistir a

una clase de bautismo antes de bautizar a su

hijo o hija. Clases bautismales se han progra-

mado el último martes de cada mes. La pró-

xima clase bautismal programada el 31 de

Mayo, a las 6:30pm en el salón parroquial.

Cada lunes se les envita a todos a resar en la Igle-

sia junto con el santisimo. El Santo Rosario de los

no nacidos. A las 7pm en la capilla de adoracion,

recuerden que el mes de Mayo es el mes de le

Santo Rosario.
