mccsHH Issue #16May 2015
May traditionally brings pleasant weather to the National Capital Region, and there’s no better time than now to plan to get outdoors and enjoy it. While there is a plethora of things to do her throughout the year, the abundance of nature all around invites you to get out and enjoy in this loveliest of seasons. To the west: the Blue Ridge Mountains (our cover features a view of the Shenandoah Valley from Skyline Drive). To the east: the seashore. Not an outdoors type? History abounds, too. To the north: the historic city of Philadelphia. And to the south: Virginia’s historic capital city, Richmond.
If you love travel, don’t miss the first MCCS Henderson Hall Travel & Leisure Fair on Saturday, May 9, 11 AM – 3 PM. The Henderson Hall “Uncorked” Wine Festival takes place at the same time, and both events are near the MCX front door. Creation Cater-ing will be selling lunch, along with a deejay and door prizes all around. See you there!
