Texas Highland Lakes was very
well represented at the Region
9 Rally in Mineola, TX from
March 31 to April 6, 2014. 10
of us met for a pre rally ren-
dezvous at NTAC on March
30th and enjoyed happy hour
hosted by Marque and Jimmy
Mooney. We then caravanned
to Mineola on Monday morn-
ing. We had a total of 17 units.

We all enjoyed great fun and
fellowship !
Special thanks to Myron and
Katherine Fischer for setting
up our unit luncheon at Petty’s
in Lindale and our Wine and
Cheese tasting at the Pink Pis-
tol! (Miranda Lambert’s store).
Many volunteers helped make
coffee each morning ,moved
tables and chairs when needed
and tested for propane leaks.
A big “thank you” to everyone
who helped make this rally a
success. See page 4 for a list of
awards and contest winners.

Barbara Burger reports that she is getting more en-
ergy daily and recovering well from heart valve sur-
gery. She is thankful for your thoughts and prayers.
Harry Rogers recently was hospitalized and then
spent three weeks in rehab. He is now home and is
celebrating his 95th birthday Wednesday April 30th!
