Transcript of May 20 2014 Primary Results : IP Targeting for Political Races
May 20th Primary results.
El Toro had 23 electoral races in 3 states using our system for the May 20th primaries. In aggregate we won 78.2% of these races. Some quick post-election analysis shows the following:
· A detailed analysis of 5 races using a control group and two targeted groups per race shows in areas that were targeted 30 extra times per household, the El Toro candidate received on average 11% more votes.
· Won a 12-way primary for Louisville Metro Council, with a candidate who had never run for elective office.
· Won a 3 way primary for Family Court Judge, where our candidate was outspent 4 – 1 by the favorite.
· Won a primary for State Representative where our candidate was outspent 2-1.
· The campaign consultant for one of the races we helped win described the results as a miracle!
· Helped a first term State Senator from Arkansas fend off a well-financed challenger, by increasing her name ID 8% in a 7 day period prior to the election.
· Helped pass a ballot initiative banning GMO’s in Southern OR, with more than 66% of the vote. Our side was outspent 3-1.
· Additionally, out of the 5 losses we had on May 20th two of the campaigns had such a low monetary investment in IP targeting that we could not serve enough ads to hit resonance with the their target audience.
