Our fifth grade Math Olympiad Team won second place in this year's district Math Olympiad competition. Reed An-derson, Brady Patton, Grant Lipham, Marco Garcia and Ad-am Pawson competed against the top math students from twenty-five other elementary schools in the district. Once both the team and individual events were over, our team was excited to learn that they would be in a tie-breaker against seven other schools. The tie-breaker con-sisted of 1 question, and the winner would be the first per-son who presented the correct answer. Mrs. Ririe was ex-cited when all five boys came storming out of the room saying that they were the first to hand in the answer (only one per team was needed), and that they were sure they were right because they had all come up with the same answer! This is the first time Fall Creek has placed in the top three. Congratulations!!!
Math Olympiad Takes 2nd Place
Left to Right: Marco Garcia, Ms. Ririe, Brady Patton, Adam Pawson, Grant Lipham, and Reed Anderson
If your child is missing a lunch box, sweater, jacket or other items, please check the lost and found. All items will be donated to charity on June 4th.

INTENT – TO – MOVE SURVEY
This form is used to assist in tracking students who withdraw from school or who be-
come “no shows” in the fall.
A written, signed statement from the parent or guardian may also be acceptable docu-
mentation for students who transfer to another district.
Did You Know...?
Humble ISD is proud to offer our parents a convenient way to monitor their student’s progress online. The Home Access Center (HAC) is a “one-stop” portal to view your student’s schedule, attendance record, classwork, progress reports, report cards, registration information, and so much more. If you have multiple students in the district, you only need to create one account to access all your students. The HAC portal can be accessed from any smart phone or com-puter with a browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari.
Each year parents and guardians must complete an Annual Student Update registration for every student. Humble ISD is making this back-to-school registration process easier for dis-trict families with online Annual Student Update registration. Starting August 4th, the Annual Student Update will begin for the 2015-2016 school year. Parents and guardians will use their Home Access Center (HAC) account to enter Guardian and Emergency Contact Information, the Student Health Inventory, the Military Dependent form, the Department of Family and Protective Services form, Family Survey, Compulsory Attendance, and the Permission form. The parent will also acknowledge district policies. Annual Update must be accessed with In-ternet Explorer 9, 10, 11 (not in compatibility view), Firefox (current release plus 4 prior ver-sions), Chrome (current release plus 4 prior versions), or Safari 5.1.7. How to Get Started To create a HAC account, you must be designated as the student’s guardian and you must pro-vide a current email address. For Spanish speakers, you are able to have your HAC account displayed in Spanish if you chose your language of correspondence as Spanish during enroll-ment. If you need to be designated as a guardian, change or update your email address, or change your language of correspondence, please contact the registrar’s office {281-641-3400} to make these changes before proceeding to create a HAC account.
To register a new HAC account, you will navigate to the district’s home page at http://www.humbleisd.net/parents. There you will find links to instructions describing how to create a HAC Account.
Remember: The Annual Student Update registration for the 2015-16 school year will be done online through HAC - so please sign up before this school year is over!
Cafeteria News from Humble ISD Child Nutrition Department
Dear Parents:
Any balance that is in your child’s cafeteria account at the end of this year will follow your student to his or her new campus. That money will be availa-ble for the student on the first day of school. If your student attends summer school, the money will transfer to the summer school and any balance left af-
ter summer school will transfer to their school in August.
If your child will no longer be enrolled in a Humble ISD school or you would like your money refunded, please contact your current cafeteria manager. The campus manager will refund the remaining balance to you. You can re-ceive your refund in person or by sending a written, signed and dated request with your child. The last date to receive your refund is Wednesday, June 3, 2010 before noon. After that time, managers will deposit all remaining
cash and will be unable to make refunds.
Refunds may be made by check only during the summer months. You may request a check at the Child Nutrition Center located at 1705 Wilson Road,
Building D, Humble, Texas 77396.
The Child Nutrition Department wishes everyone a safe and healthy summer
and we look forward to serving all you again in the fall!
